Monday evening the 5th of March from 18.00 hrs. on Shimada sensei and his Senior Ojiro will be teaching in Honbu dojo. We guess the Karate section will join us that evening...so we have some more time. That same evening they will be brought to mr. Wiert Postema's house in Utrecht. Shimada sensei told us, with this trip he wants to gather money for Fukushima...maybe that's a good idea to reward him for his efforts!

De European Jodo Federation en Tenshin Dojo organiseren het 16e seminar Shintô Musô Ryû Jodo in Krkonose, 20th - 22th April 2012.
De lessen starten op maandag 9 januari 2012. Zaterdag 14 januari wordt het nieuwe jaar met een nieuwjaarsbijeenkomst ingeluid. Dat gebeurt na afloop van de Tai Ki Ken training rond 12.30 uur.

Dear TaiKi practitioners and friends,
With pleisure we announce our international TaiKi Gasshuku at the weekend of
friday evening 17th, saturday 18th and sunday 19th of June 2011 in Shin-ShinBuKen dojo Amsterdam.
As we all can notice TaiKi is getting popular. In this gasshuku we will try to give active answers
on this popularization and also will help to find stimulating perspectives for the future.
For his reason this gasshuku will be open for TaiKi Seniors only...so for members who have at least a
'Oku-iri license'.
Organisation: sleeping options:
| foreign guests will be lodged at home of Dutch TaiKi seniors/ |
| or one can do it the 'shugyosa way' and bring the sleeping back to sleep on the tatami of the dojo/ |
| or one can find a hotel near by (please inform us for help) |
The premature program:
friday 17th:
| evening: | 18.00 hrs - arrival |
| Indonesian dinner together in public room near the dojo | |
| light evening program |
saturday 18th:
| morning: | we all go with car's to a nice natural place outside |
| afternoon: | after lunch, we will train inside the dojo |
| evening: | dinner together at a nice pittoresque place |
| in a restaurant in the north of Amsterdam |
sunday 19th:
| morning: | training outside until lunch |
| afternoon: | after lunch, final renshu training in the dojo |
| Sayonara at 16.00 hrs |
For the moment - depending on further negotiations with the restaurants - we will charge you
for 100 euro for this gasshuku, meals included.
For your information, we are counting on 20 up to 30 people at maximum...sensei McDonagh did already give his confirmation...
and please note... as we want a fruitfull gasshuku we do ask... each TaiKi member of all grades/levels...
....to prepare a personal TaiKi demo of 3 min. where he (with help of a partner(s)) will show an determining aspect of TaiKi, that defines what TaiKi is....without text.

Met ingang van januari 2011 jeugdkarate onder leiding van Rob Quant, 4e dan KBN.
Door het wegvallen van de judolessen verviel de mogelijkheid voor kinderen in onze buurt om zich te ontwikkelen in de oosterse
krijgskunsten binnen onze vereniging. Daarom hebben wij besloten tot het geven van jeugdkarate voor kinderen van 10 jaar of ouder.
De les is op donderdag van 18.30 - 19.30 uur.
Het is mogelijk om twee proeflessen gratis te volgen. Hierdoor is het mogelijk om even te wennen aan deze nieuwe vorm.
